but andrew has already made a tremendous amount of recovery even before the start of tfc, before neil. he came to terms with his sexuality in the aftermath of rape & sexual abuse, stopped cutting, and even whilst believing there isnt wasnt and never could be, allowed for kevin to attempt to find him something worth living for. and he has still a lifetime of recovery left, and wont ever be all the way better, but even through the seemingly blatant disregard for his own worth and life, he still (un?)consciously tries at getting there every day he continues breathing, and that is ?? really terribly beautiful
